One of the many core services that our clients demand is general consulting and insight into our knowledge base. Our ability to provide you technical direction and advice as consultants is the foundation of our core values. We are always happy to educate, collaborate and direct clients that are new to the DAS arena.
Initial dialog generally leads us to providing you a more detailed services proposal or a high level ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) pricing for a DAS solution. Either way, an inquiring phone call is always welcomed and will always be returned.
At WAC, we believe that in order to provide clients with the best possible outcome on a project-coordinated support infrastructure, code compliance, possible carrier funding, adequate spaces, sufficient power, qualified and experienced installation, approved and future-ready equipment, that it is wise to engage a consultant as a part of the Engineering Process. Wireless Application Consulting specializes in crafting the optimal solution to solving all of our clients RF needs.
A sampling of our Consulting Services offered are:
- High Level Budgeting
- RF Surveys Public Safety/Carriers
- Site Survey & Needs Analysis

Pretesting is required at 90% building completion as required by code. Pretesting is also available earlier in the building process (not code-compliant) to give the property owner or general contractor the advantage of advanced notice should an ERRCS be required.
- Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP (Post))
Public Safety and carrier-approved testing ensures that the installed ERRCS or DAS meets the requirements set forth by the AHJ or carriers. For ERRCS, this entails a 20-grid test (usually accompanied by a representative of the Fire Department) as required by the fire code. For carriers, this entails a comprehensive site walk with drive-test software/hardware to ensure the required coverage per band as mandated by the individual carriers.
